Firstly this hotel is on a side street and not easy to find. We arrived with two young children on an intense heat wave day to check in for a confirmed, family room booked through Expedia. At check-in we were told the air conditioning in our room was broken. They made no attempt to inform us in advance of the issue or rebook us into a different room. The front desk declined to move us to another room and offered only a refund — which doesn’t help when an equivalent room for the same dates now costs roughly double, leaving us to find and pay for alternative accommodation ourselves in peak summer heat.
When we asked to resolve it with the manager, Giulia, the front desk would not call her directly and said they were unable to reach her; our own later attempts to contact her also went unanswered. This was not a weekend check-in or a late night check-in that the manager is not available. She had instructed the front desk not to call her. For a 4-star hotel at this price, being unable to provide a functioning air-conditioned room, refusing to relocate us, and leaving guests with no way to reach management is a serious failure. A carefully planned family trip, badly let down by rude staff and missing manager. Whoever owns this hotel should evaluate. The hotel itself is not a 4 star either at best a 1 or 2 star. We would recommend travels AVOID this hotel.

"A beautiful little hotel. Great outdoor bar area. A block off the beach with good restaurants all around. A block away from a little play area for kids great fruit and vegetable stand across the street. Really comfortable rooms and beds. An amazing breakfast buffet."

"We were greeted very warmly on arrival by the friendly receptionist. Our room had plenty of space and a lovely veranda with a table, chairs and sun-beds with pool towers on. The pool area was very clean with a few sun-beds and comfy seating plus a hammock and another lovely outdoor area for relaxing. ..."

"This is a perfunctory hotel in a very off track part town, although close to station and main shopping street. Nice enough, but poor levels of service. Shower was useless, too small and had mould on the tiles. The room was small. If you are looking for a bed for the night then I suppose it's fine ..."
